The Surreal Puppet Studio was co-founded by Chinese artist Deng Kang-kang and Belgian artist Fanny Davio. The duo met while pursuing their Master's in Puppetry Arts at ART² in Mons, Belgium, and subsequently collaborated on several acclaimed productions, including Too Mad to Be True and Beautiful B Side. Their work explores the intersection of body, puppetry, and imagery in theatrical space, utilizing diverse forms such as physical theatre, puppet shows, and street performances. Their innovative and visually striking style has garnered widespread appreciation from audiences across Europe.
