The "Toothpaste Foam Collective" was initiated by creator Fu Youzhi. Taking "toothpaste foam" as a creative entry point, the group produces interdisciplinary performances that unfold naturally within participatory and comfortable spaces.

Fu Youzhi graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, with a degree in Advanced Theatre Practice. The collaborative members of the collective include Qiu Bo, Ye Yuhan, Zhou Tongzhe, He Xiaoyu, Zhao Wanjun, and Li Jiayi. Together, they employ sound, imagery, and non-fictional narrative to explore more intimate shared experiences.
