“Katharsis” originated from Aristotle's interpretation of the tragic effect in Poetics, which is also Aristotle’s definition of the ultimate function of drama. In the summer of 2021, Katharsis Create was officially established in Guangzhou, and its focus is on drama creation. Our members are all graduates from art schools in Asia, and our team has the “Katharsis” characteristic of not being willing to be completely defined. We strive to convey some of the functions of “Katharsis” in every dramatic work.
