CHA Wenyuan holds a PhD in Film and television from the Central Academy of Drama and a Master’s degree in Advanced Drama practice from the Royal Central School of Drama and Speech. She has been invited to numerous drama exhibitions and festivals such as the Young Director Exhibition of the Grand National Theatre, the Wuzhen Theatre Festival, the Shanghai International Arts Festival, and the Invitational Drama Exhibition of Shenzhen. Waiting for Godot, the drama she directed in 2018 has won the Outstanding Drama Award of ATEC held in South Korea on behalf of the Central Academy of Drama.
