Shengbai Theater’s name comes from Zhuangzi’s “The World of Man,” symbolizing that purity of heart leads to clarity, which in turn brings blessings. This philosophy guides our performances and reflects our aspirations for our troupe.   With diversity, experimentation, and improvisation as its creative spirits, the Shengbai Theater focuses on experimenting with and exploring the content of theatrical arts and the form of theater. In the name of "theater", it pays attention to "people", explores the humanities around us, and hopes to create a field that can gather and accommodate everyone's expressions and presentations, and serve as a link for them. It looks forward to seeing more artistic forms being experimented with, clashing, and emerging here, and also hopes to attract more people to the theater.
