Project O is an independent dance company based in Guangzhou, founded in 2017. With Ye Ziyang, Lin Xianqiang, and Xie Jiaqi as its core members, the group focuses on dance theatre, video, and dance education.Using the body as a primary medium, Project O explores the interplay between movement and space, objects, sound, and time… constructing latent theatricality. By creating open-ended spaces, they invite free association, evoking personal memories and reflections.From 2017 to 2025, the company has created over ten original theatre works. Among them, The Door (2023) was featured in the Guangdong Modern Dance Week Youth Dance Showcase and the Hangzhou Drama Festival. Living Space has been selected for the Young Artists Incubation Program at the Shanghai International Dance Center in 2025.
